After the Watermark Plano Campus launched as an independent church in 2021, Watermark Urgent Care Plano followed suit in 2022. The Plano clinic was re-branded in June as CityBridge Urgent Care, Powered by Watermark Health, which birthed a new partnership model for Watermark Health to provide back office and clinical oversight/management while allowing local churches or non-profits to be the front-facing partner in a clinic location.
The leadership of Watermark Health has a vision for more models like this and has some preliminary conversations in the works with a variety of churches and non-profits around the metroplex.
During the year, Watermark Health also grew its impact in South Dallas- partnering with Watermark’s South Dallas Campus at the Pearl C Anderson Building. In addition to Mobile Clinic being on site multiple days in a week, they’ve also worked alongside area schools to provide school physicals and vaccines to students in the neighborhood, and have partnered with a variety of area non-profits in health education and ministry fair events. The team has also piloted our Bridge Service Line (an extension of the hypertension management program) and a 6-week health and wellness program that will be rolled out to the local church body in South Dallas next year.
