TAKE A NEXT STEP

“This internship has been one of the most formative parts of my journey into medicine. I learned how meaningful patient-centered care can be when it's rooted in relationship, pastoral care, and a genuine desire to love people like Christ does. My time as an intern helped me become a more empathetic member of the healthcare community and encouraged and challenged me immensely in my faith. Now that I am in medical school, I can see how it has shaped the kind of physician I hope to become, and I’d absolutely encourage anyone considering a gap year to apply!”
Travis H, Current Med School Student and former Watermark Health Intern
