The ribbon cutting on May 19th at the Westside Medical Clinic marked an important moment—not just the opening of a new space, but the celebration of a shared commitment to accessible, compassionate healthcare. Six different churches came together to serve their community around a common vision of dignity and care.

After years of building partnerships and fundraising, and then months of construction, vendor acquisition, setting up systems, onboarding volunteers, and furnishing the space, Westside Medical Clinic is officially open to patients. Its presence reflects an intentional effort to remove barriers to care and to meet people where they are. Rather than asking individuals to navigate complex systems alone, the clinic offers care that is approachable, relational, and grounded in trust.
Many months of hard work was put in by the board as they unified under a shared vision for gospel centered healthcare.
"When a provider prays with you, in the midst of a difficult situation, you don’t ever forget it. The Westside Medical Clinic's leader visionary Dr. Aaron Adamson was that provider for me when my husband passed away. He brings the epitome of what it is to be a healthcare provider who knows Who to call on when times are hard. I know we are going to benefit greatly on the west side of Fort Worth to have free medical care for people who have needs, but more than that I know patients will benefit as we share Jesus Christ every time we can." - Patricia Harper-Pollard, Westside Medical Board Member
As part of the Collaborative Clinic Network, the Westside Medical Clinic is not working in isolation. This network represents a shared commitment among partners who believe that collaboration leads to better outcomes than working alone. By aligning resources, expertise, and vision, the network strengthens each individual clinic and expands the reach of care across communities. The ribbon cutting highlighted this spirit of partnership. It was a celebration of what can happen when organizations choose cooperation over competition and prioritize the needs of the people they serve.
I couldn’t be more excited to see the opening of the Westside clinic-the first of many collaborative clinics. We are grateful that the Westside clinic and partner churches have chosen to join us and provide access to healthcare and engage the Fort Worth community with the love and power of Christ. - Dr. Matt Bush, Watermark Health Founder and Board Chairman
The ribbon cutting was just the beginning. Now the work of service begins. Because of how we have seen God work through clinics like this over the years, we know with confidence that there are great stories on the horizon for Westside Medical Clinic. But what we do not yet know is what God will choose to do through this unique partnership of six churches. Our deep gratitude goes to the partners, supporters, and community members who made this moment possible. The work continues, and the Westside Medical Clinic now stands as a tangible expression of what shared vision from the Body of Christ can accomplish.
